Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the LegalLens India website and your purchase of registration, filing, tax, compliance, licensing and related professional-assistance services.
Effective date: 21 September 2026
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using this website, submitting an enquiry, creating an account or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms and the policies linked in the footer. You must be legally capable of entering into a contract and must provide accurate, current and complete information.
2. Nature and scope of services
The exact scope is the service and package description shown at checkout or otherwise confirmed in writing. Unless expressly stated, government fees, stamp duty, statutory charges, third-party certification, courier charges and professional work outside the confirmed scope are additional.
- LegalLens India provides professional assistance and coordination; it does not control government portals, regulators, registries, banks or other third parties.
- Approval, registration, licence issuance, tax outcome or processing time cannot be guaranteed because the final decision rests with the relevant authority.
- General website information is not a substitute for advice based on your complete facts and should not be treated as a guaranteed legal or tax opinion.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Provide genuine, legible and complete information and documents within requested timelines.
- Review drafts and confirm instructions before filing or submission.
- Maintain lawful authority and necessary consents for all personal, business and third-party information supplied to us.
- Pay applicable service fees and external charges and promptly respond to clarification or authority requests.
4. Prices and payments
Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Online payments are processed securely through Razorpay. A payment is treated as complete only after successful confirmation. LegalLens India does not store your full payment-instrument credentials. Failed, pending or duplicate transactions will be handled using the payment status received from Razorpay and the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Service commencement and delivery
Work begins after successful payment, receipt of required information and documents, and any necessary scope confirmation. Delivery is normally electronic through email, the website, a customer dashboard or another agreed channel. Estimated timelines and delay rules are described in the Service Delivery Policy.
6. Intellectual property and website use
The website, branding, layouts and original content belong to LegalLens India or its licensors. You may use deliverables prepared specifically for your matter for their intended lawful purpose. You must not disrupt the website, attempt unauthorised access, misuse another person’s account, scrape protected content or use the services for unlawful or misleading activity.
7. Suspension and termination
We may pause or refuse work where information is incomplete or suspected to be false, payment is disputed, instructions appear unlawful, cooperation is not provided, or continuing would breach professional, regulatory or platform requirements. Any refund eligibility will be assessed under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, LegalLens India is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, authority rejection caused by customer information, third-party downtime, force-majeure events or delays outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first contact us so we can attempt an amicable resolution. Subject to applicable consumer law and mandatory jurisdiction rules, courts with jurisdiction in Telangana will have jurisdiction over unresolved disputes.
10. Changes
We may revise these terms to reflect service, payment, operational or legal changes. The terms in effect when you place an order will ordinarily govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
